Okay, let me see if I can summarize this conversation as I understand it..

[Adapted from an email list I'm on; nothing to do with the SCA]

Anonymous Poster: "Here is the transcript of an IM conversation between me and M, in which he talks about how the club is falling apart, and E has secretly bought the whole thing."
M: "I never said any of that; this whole transcript is a fabrication."
A, B, and C: "Well, whether or not the transcript is true, the problems being talked about are real."
D: "Whether or not the problems are real, the apparently-faked transcript doesn't exactly help your credibility, does it?"
J: "I was the one who posted the conversation. Despite the fact that the login in the conversation is mine, I wasn't the person who actually *had* the conversation -- that was someone else. But the conversation has been posted several places, so it's *obviously* real! And stop picking on me!"
MM: "I've just spoken with E, who denies that he's bought anything."
V: "How dare you talk to E! You're just trying to destroy me!"

It goes downhill from there. My head hurts...
