Another day, another online toy -- custom search

It seems like scarcely a week goes by without my finding some new toy at Google. Today's is Google Custom Search Engine, which lets you create a sort of sub-Google, just for sites that you consider relevant. You manage it and decide what sites should be included, and can link to it from your own site.

Nice idea. The next question is, does the SCA Search Engine already exist? And if not, any bets on how long before it does? It's not a trivial project -- the number of potentially-useful sites to include is very, very large -- but with a fairly large editorial board, such a thing might be pretty useful...
