My Body is Depressingly Predictable

So yesterday, I came down with a small pain during dance practice. Not quite sure what the issue was -- might have been due to trying to sing the music loudly while doing bouncy bransles (while we were waiting for the speaker to show up), or a tiny incipient kidney stone (always a worry), or even simply that The Tumor was getting a little over-heavy due to not having emptied the change out of it recently. One way or another, though, I had a slight ache in my back left lower quadrant.

That was only a minor irritant. But of course, by this morning my entire back had decided to declare solidarity with said quadrant, and has gone on a wildcat strike against me. So at this point, I don't even know if the ache from last night is still there, because it is comprehensively overwhelmed by the massive muscle-tension pains all over my back.

None of which would feel anywhere near so stupid, except that I knew that this was going to happen, and couldn't do a damned thing to prevent it: slight back pains always turn into horrible muscle spasms for me, because I always get so tense when I try to sleep with any back pain. Bloody annoying...
