Laurels vs. Pelicans

I really couldn't afford the time or spoons to go to Panteria this year, but I will admit that I do regret missing the Laurels vs. Pelicans tourney. *Especially* as it transpired, as a collection of one-on-one bouts. As soon as I read that, I suddenly realized what my specialty weapon should have been: a pair of gigantic dance slippers on my arms. Would have been utterly ridiculous -- essentially fighting two-shield -- but I could have conducted a dance lesson while fighting. The idea of teaching the galliard as a combat technique would have been *so* worth it, and the banter practically writes itself...
